About a year ago I happened to stumble across a Malaguti Centro SL, it was love at first sight. But the more of the brand’s motorcycles I came across, the more I knew I would soon be cheating on my Centro.
There’s something about the Malaguti Phantom that just made me have to have one, after all, it is pretty iconic around these parts. So when I had the opportunity to get my hands on one, I didn’t hesitate. It’s shape, attitude and sound had me hooked. And then come the little things. The nod of respect when you pass a fellow Phantom rider… This things got history behind it. I got on a 2004 XSM the other day and now It looks like I’m going to have to find some more space in the garage.
On weekends it’s just me, my Phantom and the Piedmont mountain range, it’s all I need. I feel blessed to have such an incredible place
right on my doorstep, and I don’t think I could have found a better companion to explore it with.
